Although the deadline for the abstract submission was July 9th, we will make an effort to accommodate last-moment participants. Anybody willing to participate in the conference is still welcome. At this stage, we cannot offer any slots for oral presentations, but will accommodate poster presentations. We cannot guarantee accommodation at the conference site but will contact Kloster Irsee on your behalf to inquire whether rooms are still available. Anybody willing to participate in the conference should contact the conference organizer Dr. Ludwig Kibler at ludwig.kibler@uni-ulm.de.
The contributions presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of Electrocatalysis. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed to meet the journal’s publication standards.
The number of participants will be limited to about 100. Therefore, early registration is highly recommended. Students are encouraged to participate in a poster sessions. There will be three best student poster awards.
Participants who fail to register before July 28th, will not be guaranteed accommodation at Kloster Irsee and will have to arrange alternative accommodation on their own. Therefore, the Organizers encourage all participants to register as soon as possible. Information about the registration can be found on the web site. Registration fees may be paid either by a wire transfer (favored option) or in person at the conference site (only cash will be accepted).
The conference venue (see www.kloster-irsee.de) is a magnificent baroque complex of the former Irsee Monastery, now the Swabian Conference and Education Centre. It offers a picturesque country-side setting, modern conference facilities, comfortable rooms, and fine cuisine. It can be easily accessed from the main German airports (Munich and Frankfort) using public transport (see www.db.de for travel by train). Participation in the conference can be easily combined with family holidays in the picturesque and welcoming Bavaria, Switzerland (1.5 hr by car), and Austria (1 hr by car). The Conference and Education Center offers ideal environment and conditions for stimulating discussions and personal reflection.
The conference organizers look forward to welcoming you at the Electrocatalysis Conference in Irsee
Best regards
